The starboard firemain must be kept in a closed position except for emergencies.

Before the ship leaves port and at all times during the voyage, all life-saving appliances shall be in working order and ready for immediate use. MI found the bolts that hold the face plate for the releasing hooks on both lifeboats were missing lock nuts and washers. (Vessel has 60 days for completion)
