1220-Freeboard Marks- The mark of the authority by whom the load lines are assigned may be indicated alongside the load line ring above the horizontal line which passes through the center of the ring, or above and below it. This mark shall consist of not more than four intials to identify the authority's name. Load line plimsol mark on both port and sarboard side are improperly marked and do not reflect the current international load line certificate which was issued to the vessel.
