The shutoff at the fuel tank must be manually operable from outside the space its in. MI found remote pull handle for the STBD fuel tank not capable of close because of mechanical failure. Pull cable is not fastened to the handle. Make repairs and prove the remote pull handle is capable of closeing.

Resolution: Pull cable is fastened to the fuel valve and pull handle is capble of shutting off fuel within the supply line. Pull handle operational test was satisfactory.

Resolution: Corrected on the spot. The crew member disassembled the light housing and noticed the electrical connection between the bulb and terminal was loose and corroded. Cleaned, tightened and reinstalled.
