PSCO OBSERVED THE VESSEL'S 02 LIFE RAFT SEA PAINTER, ON BOTH THE PORT AND STBD SIDE, SHARING A COMMON HYDROSTATIC RELEASE UNIT(HRU), WHICH IS NOT AN APPROVED INSTALLATION METHOD, BOTH ONBOARD LIFE RAFT SEA PAINTERS WERE CONNECTED DIRECTLY THROUGH THE HRU PRESSURE RELEASE APPARATUS AND HAD AN UNAPPROVED ROPE WIRE LINK DEVCE.
