Instrumentation shall be fitted for continuously indicating and permanently recording, when inert gas is being supplied: the oxygen content of the inert gas in the inert gas supply mains on the discharge side of the gas blowers. 1899; The deck seal discharge line was holed and leaking causing the system to loose water which in turn caused the IGG to shut down. The hole was temporary repaired by the crew. In addition the sight glass for the deck seal is cracked and needs replacing. Class must inspect the temporary repair and address the sight glass.
