Numerous areas of the steam line on deck are in disrepair with regards to lagging and other safety measures. 74 SOLAS (04 Con) II-I/26.1.

Resolution: Received, reviewed and accepted class report from DNV-GL stating the deficiency was rectified. The steam pipe lines have been decommissioned and must received full repair if brought back into service.

Resolution: The crew reattached the weight to the limit switch and greased the wires of the crane. The rescue boat was able to be launched and recovered in an appropriate amount of time. All was found satisfactory to the Coast Guard Marine Inspector.
