Efficient guard rails shall be fitted to all exposed parts of the decks. Hand rail, top section approximately 4ft in length, wasted and detached in the vicinity of top deck of cargo tank #1 port side. Temporary repair using a ratchet strap has been installed. Missing section of hand rail must be permanently repaired.

The condition of the ship and its equipment shall be maintained to conform with the provisions of the present regulations to ensure that the ship in all respects will remain fit to proceed to sea without danger to the ship or persons onboard. Electrical junction box in cable run between tanks 1 and 2 missing grounding/bonding wire. Light fixture enclosures (2) missing bonding/grounding wires outside superstructure at catwalk level (starboard side). Cable ends wasted.
