A continuous audible and visual alarm signal shall be automatically effected in the P/R, ECR and Bridge to alert personnel to the potential hazard. The Gas detection system and alarm system serving the pump room is detecting a constant H2S alarm condition when lvls are not there. 74SOLAS(14)II-2/4.5.10.3

Resolution: Received class report that a new sensor for H2S had been installed and tested and found working properly. Attended the vessel and witnessed test of the sensor for the space. Detections system found to be working and reading O2, LEL, and H2S without fault.
