Bulk carriers shall be fitted with water level detectors in any dry or void space other than a chain locker, any part of which extends forward of the foremost cargo hold, giving an audible and visible alarm at water levels of 0.1 m above the deck. PSCO observed the water igress panel alarming for the forward hydraluic space even through no water was observed in the space. SOLAS 74 (am) 2014 cons. XII/12.1.3 (16a)

Each liferaft or group of liferafts shall be stowed with a float-free arrangement complying with the regulations of the LSA code, that each floats free and inflates automatically when the ship sinks.
