Fire Fighting › Ventilation Systems › Duct Hatches

Vessels' ventilation dampers were unable to be manually secured during the fire drill. The inoperable dampers were identified in numerous locations around the superstructure on the Poop deck. The ventilation penetrates the bulkheads in numerous service areas and compromises the fire fighting ability of the ship.
