THE FIRE RESISTANCE OF DOORS SHALL BE EQUIVALENT TO THAT OF THE DIVISION IN WHICH THEY ARE FITTED. DURING THE EXAM THE MASTERS CABIN DOOR WAS UNABLE TO BE OPENED. THE CREW ATTEMPTED TO OPEN THE DOOR BY REMOVING THE LOCK. DURING REMOVAL PSCO'S OBSERVED DAMAGE TO THE DOOR, COMPROMISING THE FIRE BOUNDARY.

1430: Auxiliary Engines- Two hours after ship switched over to low sulfur gas oil, #2 generator shuts down. Generators 1 & 3 could not maintain load and shut down. Ship lost power/propulsion (blackout). Chief Engineer believes an air bubble caused #2 generator to shut down due to fuel switchover. Cause of failure to be determined by Class surveyor.
