Such means shall consist of a door-latching mechanism incorporating a device that releases the latch upon the application of force in the direction of escape flow. Escape routes shall be maintained in a safe condition, clear of obstacles. Obstruction was found outside the crew gym to crews recreation area. Obstruction was also found on Deck 3 Port Side, main dining room. A table and chairs blocking escape route. SOLAS 14, CH II-2 Reg 13.1.2. Action take 10c

Fire screen doors 11.8.01 and 11.8.15 did not close when activated from the bridge. On fire door 11.8.01 the crash bar was jammed preventing closure. On door 11.8.15 handle was jammed preventing door from closing.

Davit #36 was taken out of service due to damages sustained from allision while vsl was moored in Montegobay. 04 liferafts have been arranged in the emergency plans to accomodate the vsls pax and crew lifesaving capacity. Vsl is expected to fix davit within 7 days.
