PSCO observed wiring to two lighting installations on forward end of cargo deck not installed to acceptable standards. 74 SOLAS (20) II-1/45.11

74 SOLAS (2004) II-2/5.5.1.1 FSS CODE 2.2.1.2.5 For tankers of 20,000 tonnes deadweight and upwards, the protection of the cargo tanks shall be achieved by a fixed inert gas system in accordance with the Fire Safety Systems Code. The system shall be capable of: delivering inert gas with an oxygen content of not more than 5% by volume to the cargo tanks at any required rate of flow. The IG shut-off valve was not working properly.
