Each exhaust pipe from an internal comustion engine which is within reach of personnel must be insulated or otherwise guarded to prevent burns. Hot piping within reach of personnel was exposed on both port an starboard generator. Install insulation to prevent burns on all applicable hot piping to the satisfcation of the attending surveyor. The vessel's TPO has the authority to clear this deficiency IAW CVC Policy letter 17-10.
Action required: 50 - Rectify deficiencies w/in 30 days
