Vessel's 10-B:C portable fire extinguisher is in non-serviceable condition. Extinguisher to be replaced with approved type 10-B:C extinguisher or larger. 46 CFR 181.500(a)(b)

Each floating waterlight must be approved in accordance with CFR. Inspector found the life float battery not approved by the manufacturers specifications. The battery had spring type connections a fixed by zip ties. 46 CFR 180.70 (d)

Each floating waterlight installed after March 11, 1997, on a vessel carrying only one ring buoy, must be attached to the lanyard with a corrosion-resistant clip. The clip must have a strength of at least 22.7 kilograms (50 pounds), and allow the waterlight to be quickly disconnected from the ring life buoy. Inspector found water light clip seized due to corrosion. 46 CFR 180.70 (d)(3)

Inspector found an engine modification from the valve train venting system on both engines; a flexible hose is configured to vent the valve cover into a plastic five gallon bucket. Provide documentation IAW manufacturers specifications to engine configuration. 46 CFR 176.804 (c)
