The alarms required in paragraphs 2.2.4.5.1.1, 2.2.4.5.1.3, and 2.2.4.5.1.5 shall be fitted in the machinery and cargo control room, where provided, but in each case in such a postion that they are immediately recieved by responsible members of the crew.
PSCO observed absence of audible and visual alarms for the inert gas panel located in the CCR.

Resolution: Received Master/CE attestation that corrective action was taken and alarms were tested and fully functional. Also, observed email from Class that matter was resolved.
Detailed instruction manuals shall be provided on board, covering the operations, safety and maintenence requirements and occupational health hazards relevant to the inert gas system and its operation to cargo tank system. The manuals shall include guidance on procedures to be followed in the event of fault or failure of the inert gas system.
PSCO observed vessels IGG operation manual indicates the main control panel is located in the engine control room, however, the main control panel is located near the IGG near the upper platform of the engine room. Additionally, PSCO observed modifications to the systems. The CCR panel now contains a 3 pen digital recorder where the IGG operations manual mentions a 2 pen recorder.

Resolution: IGG manual was updated to refelct correct uses of the items provided. In addition, the location of the Main Control Panel has been updated. Both updates were verified, signed, and stamped by the attending class surveyor.
