The port and starboard manual ventilation dampers for the engine compartment are seized, do not sufficiently seal when closed, and are considered non-functional. Make permanent repairs to the port and starboard ventilation dampers IAW original design plan review approval specifications to the satisfaction of the attending CG Marine Inspector. 46CFR182.465(h)

A grease extraction hood must be equipped with a dry or wet chemical fire extinguishing system meeting the applicable sections of NFPA 17 or NFPA 17A (both incorporated by reference, see 46 CFR 175.600). A servicing report from Global Fire Inc, 20 Colonial Drive, Naples, FL 34112, for the fixed fire extinguishing system, located at the galley hood, dated 03/12/2025, serial number 31547 states the following: Ansul R-102 Wet Chemical Fire Suppression System cartridge and actuation hose is overdue for a hydrostatic pressure test. Prior to using galley appliances, provide to the CG Marine Inspector, updated servicing report of completed required system maintenance and recertification of the system IAW manufacturer's specifications and NFPA 17. 46CFR181.425

The cognizant OCMI may require that a vessel and its equipment undergo any additional test or inspection deemed reasonable and necessary to determine that the vessel and its equipment are suitable for the service in which they are to be employed. essel is unable to complete the VHF Radio Digital Selective Calling (DSC) Test. Complete the VHF Radio Digital Selective Calling (DSC) Test IAW MSIB 20-20. 46CFR176.840

Shutoff valves, installed so as to close against the fuel flow, must be fitted in the fuel supply lines, The shutoff valve at the tank must be manually operable from outside the compartment in which the valve is located. The fuel tank shut down valve linkage is not adequately secured. Secure the fuel tank shut down valve linkage to the satisfaction of the attending CG Marine Inspector. 46CFR182.455(b)(4)

At each inspection for certification and at every other vessel inspection all observed unsafe practices, fire hazards, and other hazardous situations must be corrected and all required guards and protective devices must be in satisfactory condition. IAW Rescue Platform MPS-WI-SECSP(spi)-14, The platform, when deployed, must be parallel to the water without breaking the surface. The platform when deployed is not parallel to the water, and is submerged. Make permanent repairs to the rescue platform to the satisfaction of the attending CG Marine Inspector. 46CFR176.830(a)

On a vessel on which the number of passengers permitted on upper decks is limited by stability criteria, as indicated by the vessel's stability letter, the maximum number of passengers allowed on an upper deck must be indicated by a durable marking of at least 25 millimeters (1 inch) numbers and letters at the entranceway to that deck. Passenger capacity marking missing on interior and exterior entranceway to second deck. Add markings to satisfaction of attending CG Marine Inspector. 46CFR185.602

Each rescue boat and ring life buoy must be marked with Type II retroreflective material approved in accordance with 46 CFR 164.018 or other standard specified by the Commandant. The arrangement of the retro-reflective material applied after March 11, 1996, must be as specified by IMO Resolution A.658(16). Three ring life buoys are insufficiently marked with retro-reflective material. Mark three ring life buoys with retro-reflective material to the satisfaction of attending CG Marine Inspector. 46CFR185.604(i)

At each inspection for certification and at every other vessel inspection all observed unsafe practices, fire hazards, and other hazardous situations must be corrected and all required guards and protective devices must be in satisfactory condition. The following unsafe practices and hazards were ID'd during the annual inspection: Battery charger exposed electrical connection in steering compartment, Stern thruster exposed electrical connection, inadequate harness for MOB/Rescue platform, improperly secured soda CO2 bottles. Correct the unsafe practices and hazards to the satisfaction of the attending CG Marine Inspector. 46CFR176.830

Repair wasted sections of longitudinal deck frames - port and starboard - IWO sewage tank by next scheduled dry dock in September 2021.

Vessel FCC certificates are expired. Renew and provide proof of FCC certificates in good standing.

Several non-metallic flex hoses on the vessel used for oil service are not approved, needing replacement. Add chaffing gear and replace specified hoses.
