For this purpose means shall be provided to control leaks or flammable liquids. PSCO observed teh MDE #5 cylinder fuel injector leaking excessively causing a fire hazard. SOLAS 74a(2004 Cons) II-2/4.1.1

PSCO observed the structural fire protection for escape trunk in engine room workshop was soaked in oil. Crew was doing maintaince of injectors in the corner. SOLAS 74a (2004 Cons) II-2/14.2.1.1.1

Personal equipment shall consist of protective clothing of material to protect the skin from the heat radiating from the fire and from burns and scalding by steam. Outter surface shall be water resistant. Fireman outfits had holes in them. 74 SOLAS (09 cons.) II-2/10.1 & FSS Code 2.1.1.1
