PSCO observed during lowering of STBD rescue boat/lifeboat, gripe became hooked to tow bit causing cable to cut a 3" hole in canopy. SOLAS 74 a 2014 Cons. III/20.2 17a

PSCO observed loose fittings and exposed electrical connections IWO #1 COPT mechanical seal detections and vibration sensor.
