Electric radiators, if used, shall be fixed in position and so constructed as to reduce fire risks to a minimum. PSCO found portable electric radiator plugged in at BOSN locker which crew was using to heat the hydraulic oil used for the bowthruster. Electric heater was strapped with rope under hydraulic oil tank. SOLAS (2014 CONS) II-2/4.1
