THE CONDITION OF THE SHIP AND ITS EQUIPMENT SHALL BE MAINTAINED TO CONFORM WITH THE PROVISONS OF THE PRESENT REGULATIONS TO ENSURE THAT THE SHIP IN ALL RESPECTS WILL REMAIN FIT TO PROCEED TO SEA WITHOUT DANGER TO THE SHIP OR PERSONS ON BOARD. THE VESSELS #1 AIR COMPRESSOR IS CURRENTLY NON-OPERATIONAL. VESSEL CANNOT ADEQUATELY REFILL START AIR RECIEVERES.

Deficiency Code - 13101 Deficiency Category – Propulsion main engine The machinery, boilers and other pressure vessels, associated piping systems and fittings shall be of a design and construction adequate for the service for which they are intended and shall be so installed and protected as to reduce to a minimum any danger to persons on board, due regard being paid to moving parts, hot surfaces and other hazards... The vessel experienced a reduction in propulsion while transitting the Houston ship channel. The vessel shall submit a Class report attesting to the full function of the main engine prior to departing the COTP zone for SECTOR Houston-Galveston. Deficiency Cite - SOLAS 74 (2004) II-1/26.1

Resolution: Received, reviewed and accepted class report / proper documentation from Lloyds Register (class) stating the deficiency was rectified. Vessel's crew replaced #4 cylinder injection control unit, op tested, test sat. Class statement attests to repairs.
