0615-Rescue Boats-During abandoned ship drill the stern gripe for the stbd lifeboat caught a portion of the lifeboat swinging it back against the vsl. The port side, stern portion of the lifeboat received damage that could affect the watertight integrity. Damage is to be assessed by class and recommendations for repairs are to be made prior to departure from port. LSA Code 4.4.1.1.

Resolved 7 January 2009
Resolution: Class conducted survey on lifeboat and found no structural damage. Class attest that no repair is needed to be done on lifeboat. Class report can be found in vessel documents.
