SILVER BULLET is a 2008 passenger vessel (inspected). The Coast Guard has recorded 12 inspections since 2016, most recently in November 2025, along with 13 deficiencies and 1 operational control.
Records from 2016 to 2025. Most recent: inspection, 17 November 2025.
Coast Guard record current through 23 August 2026, retrieved 5 September 2026 from PSIX. Every field on this page was recorded by the Coast Guard. Records for the Passenger Ship class in Maury's sources begin in 2016.
Every line above is a count of records the US Coast Guard wrote, or a date it recorded.
A blank resolution means none was recorded in this data; it does not establish that a
deficiency is outstanding. Years with a record are calendar years in which a record
exists, not years in service. What Maury does
not do.

This hull's Official Number is not in the NVDC file dated 10 August 2026 as served by NOAA Fisheries, so no documentation record is shown. Absence from that file is a fact about the file, not about the hull.

Issued 1 December 2025Resolved
Shutoff valves, installed so as to close against the fuel flow, must be fitted in the fuel supply lines, one at the tank connection and one at the engine end of the fuel line to stop fuel flow. The shutoff valve at the tank must be manually operable from outside the compartment in which the valve is located, preferably from an accessible position on the weather deck.
The location of the vessel's fuel shutoff valve is impracticable to reach in an emergency where fuel would need to be stopped in the event of an engine fire.
Engineer a remote means to close the valve from the operators position.
