During visual exam of the CO2 storage compartment, inspector discovered a missing cotter pin on the manual override valve from CO2 cyclinder head. Class shall provide inspection findings to USCG from servicing company via class report. 17AC

While conducting engine room exam, inspector discovered the main engine pre-heating pump was not operational. Crew installed a temporary diaphragm while waiting on a new pump. Provide class report on findings and repairs made to the USCG. 50AC

All access opening in bulkheads at ends of enclosed superstructures shall be fitted with dorrs or steel or other equivalent material, permanently and strongly attached to the bulkhead and framed, stiffened and fitted so that the whole structure is of equivalent strength to the unpierced bulkhead and weathertight when closed. Weathertight doors were missing handles and had patched up hole with tape. ICLL Ch. II/12.1
