When the PSCO conducted a test of the vessels oily water separator and oil content meter it was observed that the oil content meter recorded an incorrect date of 25 DEC 2018 when the date of the test was 31 JAN 2019. A vessel's cargo containment system must have a high level alarm that gives an audible and visual alarm which can be seen and heard where cargo transfer is controlled, and on the open deck. During the cargo deck examination it was observed that the required high level alarm could not be seen or heard on the open deck while testing tanks (3P/3S & SP/SS & 5P/5S).

1220-Freeboard Marks-The rings, lines, and letters shall be painted and permanently marked on the sides of the ship. The marks shall be plainly visible. The tropical, summer, and winter load line marks were found to be unpainted and not permanently marked on the hull of the ship, which is not in accordance with the ILLC (ILLC 05 Edition, Chapter 1, Regulation 8).

Resolution: Recieved a Class Report from RINA stating the Load Line marking were added to both sides of the vessel and properly painted. A new Load Line Certificate was issued. The ship now has two Load Line Certificates.
