After any class survey of the ship has been completed, no change shall be made to the structural arrangements, machinery, equipment and items covered by the survey, without the sanction of the Administration. During inspection, PSCO found 2 hoses installed connecting gray water drain discharges, diverting the gray water to a clean water tank due to the lack of a vessel's gray water holding tank.

Resolution: Received Class report from NKK allowing the vessel to use temporary hoses from the gray water drains and clean sewage water drain to a clean water tank, as not to discharge gray water while in port. The vessel was not constructed with a gray water tank.

Fire-fighters’ outfits shall comply with the Fire Safety Systems Code which states protective clothing shall consist of material to protect the skin from heat radiating from the fire and burns and scalding by steam. During inspection, PSCO found 3 fire-fighting outfits were deteriorated needing replacement.
