07102 - Fire Safety - For tankers of 20,000 tonnes deadweight and upwards, the protection of the cargo tanks shall be achieved by a fixed inert gas system in accordance with the requirements of the fire safety systems code. Upon Testing IGG, PSCO observed unintended shut down and crew was unable to demonstrate proper operation of system due to failure. Cargo operations not authorized until proper operation of IGG witnessed by CG. 74SOLAS09CHII-2/REG 4.5.5.1.1
