After discussion with chief engineer, he stated emergency stops for the water pumps shall only be engaged during an actual event. The safety manual did not state this step in the procedures of launching the rescue and lifeboat.

PSCO observed oil content meter (ocm) calibration was overdue. After verifying date, it was found the date was 21OCT2026 for the OCM.
