Each cargo tank of a tankship must be equipped with an intrinsically safe high level alarm required by paragraph C1. Four cargo tanks are currently not alarming at high level (95%). Crew will conduct manual soundings on these tanks IAW shipboard procedures/sms. Request class visit to replace/calibrate all cargo tank leveling alarms as peroperating procedures.

Ships carrying cargoes in chapter 17 shall have onboard sufficient but not less than three complete sets of safety equipment. Ship currently has 02 out of 03 complete sets. Hole was spotted in the foot of one chemical suit, with no extras on board.

11104 - Before ship leaves port and at all times during the voyage, all life-saving appliances shall be in working order and ready for immediate use. Rescue boat engine will not engage forward or reverse due to broken shift linkage.
