The hull, superstructures, structural bulkheads, decks, and deck houses shall be constrcutced of steel or other equivalent material. FRP grating was found on decks of life boat embarkation and multiple foam monitors. Documentatioin could not be provided that FRP grating was an equivalent material suitable for use in areas used for firefighting and means of escape. Provide documentation or class type approval certficate attesting to the materials structural fire integrity suitability for its intended use.
