At each inspection, the marine inspector shall conduct tests and inspections of the main propulsion, as necessary to check safe operation. MI identified diesel leake on the # 4 inboard head of the port main engine.

Resolution: Third party tech report identified a wasted o-ring that caused the leak.

Before any vessel leaves protected waters the master shall ensure that the vessel's exposed cargo hatches and other openings in the hull are closed; made properly watertight; and secured for sea. MI identifed emergency escape door from engine room to main deck was seized open.
