The condition of the ship and its equipment shall be maintained to conform with the provisions of the present regulations. After any survey of the ship has been completed, no change shall be made in the structural arrangements, machinery, equipment or other items covered by the survey. PSCO observed a hole in the discharge piping between the Oily Water Separator and the three-way valve.

The ship must acquire the appropriate testing materials and correctly test the heat and smoke detectors prior to departure.

0900 Two rubber hoses have been installed on the A/C to provide drainage. The hoses run through the deck, into the incinerator room, then through a bulkhead and into a freshwater fill line. Class 'A' fire boundaries are compromised and water tight integrity of the weather deck as well. Clean fresh water is also compromised.
