Each vessel must have a permanently exhibited, for the guidance of the master and crew members, general arrangement plans showing, for each deck, the various fire-retardant bulkheads together with particulars of the- Fire-detection systems; Manual-alarm systems; Fire-extinguishing systems; Fire doors; Means of ingress to the different compartments; and Ventilation-systems. Ships fire control plan and life-saving plan were outdated and needing to be fully updated to reflect current arrangement for the safety of personnel on board.
