Fire doors in main vertical zone bulkheads, galley boundaries and stairway enclosures, the appropriate time of closure for hinged fire doors shall be no more than 40 s and no less than 10s from the beginning of their movement with the ship in upright position. The appropriate uniform rate of closure for sliding doors shall be of no more than 0.2 m/s and no loss than 0.1 m/s with the ship in upright position. PSCO observed sliding fire door 6.1.01 and 6.1.02 with a closure rate not adhering to the regulation.

In electrical storage outside aft mooring deck A/C station 5.5, there were multiple screws penetrating the A boundary bulkhead from the stairwell into the A/C locker.

It shall be fixed, limited to six seats on each deck in each stairway enclosure, be restricted fire risk determined, and shall not restrict passenger escape route. Furniture shall not be permitted in passenger escape route. Furniture shall not be permitted in passenger and crew corridors forming escape routes in cabin areas. One the port side one light forward of lifeboat 2, one light between lifeboats 8 and 10, one light aft of lifeboat 10, and the lower light aft of lifeboat 12.

Port State Control Officers identified a total of 28 unserviceable food rations on the lifeboats.
