Controlled tank venting systems fitted to tanks to be used for cargoes having a flashpoint not exceeding 60 degrees celcius shall be provided with devices to prevent the passage of flame into the cargo; flame screens found on tank P/V valves 2P, 3S, 4P, 4S, 6S were excessively worn, with holes, inhibiting their vapor prevntative capability. 74SOLAS (14 Cons.)
