17(AC)- 07106- A fixed fire detection and alarm system shall be provided in accordance with the provisions of this regulation. The crew identified a fault and total system malfunction of the Autrosafe Fire Detection System, used to detect fires onboard in accommodation spaces, cargo spaces and engine room. The crew detected the fault on November 11, 2025 and arrived in Saipan on the same day. The last satisfactory test and record for the test was on November 9th, 2025. The keyboard at the panel on the bridge is inoperable. The Captain initiated a 3-person roving watch for the cargo spaces and the engine room is fully manned on a 24 hour watch rotation until the deficiency is rectified. SOLAS 74 (2004 Cons ed) Ch II-2 Reg 7.2.1
