Normal equipment of every life boat shall consist of food ration as described in paragraph 4.1.5.1.18 totalling not less than 10,000kt for each person the lifeboat is permitted to accomodate. PSCO observed two inadequate rations in port side life boat. Life boat accomodates 30 and has 28 satisfactory rations.
