Issued 1 September 2018 Resolved
Before the ship leaves port and at all times during the voyage all lifesaving appliances shall be working order and ready for immediate use. The port side lifeboat was unable to properly lower due to cable issues. Lifeboats recieved 5 year renewal service & test on 07AUG2018. Captain was unable to lower to waterline at anchorage due tp U.S.Customs and Border Patrol. Vessel must provide class documentation to the proper operations of starboard and port lifeboats.
Action required: 17 - Rectify deficiencies prior to departure
