At least two independent means shall be provided for communicating order from the navigation bridge to the position in the machinery space. Appropriate means of communication shall be provided from the navigation bridge in the engine room to any other position from which the speed or direction may be controlled. Engine Order Telegraph was report Non-operational during outbound transit. Rectify Deficiency Prior to Departure from the port to the satisfaction of the vessel Classification Society.

The condition of the ship and its equipment shall be maintained to conform with the provisions of the present convention to ensure that the ship in all respects will remain fit to proceed to sea without presenting an unreasonable threat of harm to the marine environment. PSCO noted a single shackle mounting point, however the embarkation ladders were recently changed to a dual shackle mounting configuration, also chains fitted at forward embarkation station guardrails cannot be removed due to rusted release. 74SOLAS(14)III/11.7
