74 SOLAS 04 Ch. II-1/29, 11- The angle position on the rudder shall be indicated on the steering gear station and should be recognizable in the steering gear compartment. During PSC examination of steering gear, PSC examiner found discrepancies in both the steering gear room and bridge versus the rudder indicator on the rudder stock. Class to attest to proper function of gear and indicator.
