Every recorded inspection, 2016 to 2026 for this class, in one chronology · every deficiency, with system, dates and resolution · operational controls imposed and removed · every name this hull has been recorded under · the vessels it was inspected alongside, and when · how its record compares with hulls of similar age and size, as a fact about the population and never a judgement about this vessel.

Read one first, in full: a forty-year chronology · a hull that changed operators four times · the sparse case, shown as an example, not for sale.

10 - Safety of Navigation › N/A - No Subsystem › Pilot ladders and hoist/pilot transfer arrangements
Issued 12 July 2023 Resolved
When a pilot ladder winch reel is provided it should be situated at a position which will ensure persons embarking on, or disembarking from, the ship between the pilot ladder and the point of access to the ship, have safe, convenient and unobstructed access to or egress from the ship. The access position and adjacent area should be clear of obstructions, including the pilot ladder winch reel, for distances as follows: a distance of 915 mm in width measured longitudinally; a distance of 915 mm in depth, measured from the ship's side plating inwards. PSCO observed that the guide rail for the ladder may pose an obstruction to person using the ladder and the means of securing the ladder to the deck made it difficult to grip the ladder. 74 SOLAS V/23/1.2 and Resolution A. 1045(27) 7.1
Condition: Improper Installation
Action required: 50 - Rectify deficiencies w/in 30 days
Due 13 August 2023
Resolved 11 August 2023
Resolution: Previous pilot ladder arrangements dismantled and replaced with a portable slide. Repairs attested to by class survey and pictures attached.

Ownership record

The Coast Guard's documentation record for this hull -- the Abstract of Title, with its owners and liens as filed -- is not in PSIX. Ask, and Maury buys it from the National Vessel Documentation Center, files it here with its date, and every reader of this page gets it.
