Each emergencey generator set arranged to be automatically started shall be equipped with starting devices approved by the administration with a stored energy capacity of at least three consecutive starts. A second source of energy shall be provided for an additional three starts within 30 mins unless manual started can be demonstrated to be effective. Secondary hydraulic start was not able to start generator. During test, hydraulic pump assembly leaked oil throughout the compartment. SOLAS(04) Ch. II-1, Reg. 44.2
