Vessel is using the portside Oily Water Tank as a sewage holding tank while in the US. Without knowing if oil exists in this tank, vessel must retain sewage onboard and provide the Coast Guard with a plan for proper disposal of sewage in this holding tank prior to any overboard discharge.

Resolved 16 February 2009
Resolution: Germanischer Lloyd provided a report to sector NY requiring the vessel to retain all sewage in the portside oily water tank until it can be disposed of at an approved facility. Vessel is restricted from discharging this tank''s contents into the sea.
