The condition of the ship and its equipment shall be maintained to conform with the provisions of the present regulations to ensure that the ship in all respects will remain fit to proceed to sea without danger to the ship or persons on board. At approximately 0242 central time on 31May24, vessel experienced loss of electrical power and propulsion in Lake Superior, about 14 nm west of Keweenaw Peninsula. Provide class attestation to troubleshooting and repairs to Coast Guard MSU Duluth, prior to departure from port of Duluth.
