All life-saving appliances & arrangements shall comply with the applicable requirements of the Code. The method of securing the lifejacket to the wearer has quick & positive means of closure that do not require tying of knots. PSCO observed that the crew was unable to control the main engine propulsion system from the bridge. This same issue was observed by MSU Baton Rouge on 25MAR2017.
