BULK CHILE is a freight ship. The Coast Guard has recorded 8 inspections since 2010, most recently in March 2016, along with 1 deficiency and 2 operational controls.
Records from 2010 to 2016. Most recent: inspection, 21 March 2016.
The 8 inspections in the strip above, split by the kind of activity the US
Coast Guard recorded. Years with a record are calendar years in which a record exists, not
years in service. What Maury does not do.
This record may be incomplete: the most recent inspection recorded for this vessel was 10 years ago. Maury shows what the Coast Guard recorded, not whether the vessel has been inspected since, is still in service, or what condition it is in. Coast Guard record current through 13 September 2026, retrieved 18 September 2026 from PSIX. Every field on this page was recorded by the Coast Guard. Records for the Bulk Carrier class in Maury's sources begin in 1981.

Documentation record
Tonnage as PSIX records it18122 - Simplified, Net Ton 30816 - Simplified, Gross Ton 30816 - Convention (Subpart B), Gross Ton
This hull's Official Number is not in the NVDC file dated 10 September 2026 as served by NOAA Fisheries, so no documentation record is shown. Absence from that file is a fact about the file, not about the hull.
Radio station licence
No FCC ship-station licence is recorded against this Official Number in the file of
6 September 2026. That is a fact about the licence file, not about the radio.
The Coast Guard recorded this vessel and the following in the same
inspection activity — normally a tug and the barges in its tow. A recreational or
unclassed hull in the same activity is held and not published, so it does not appear
here: these lists are a floor, not a complete manifest.
Remote fuel oil shut off valve for emergency generator does not work properly in accordance with manufacturers recommendations.
Action required: 15 - Rectify deficiencies by next port
Resolved 16 May 2014
Resolution: Deficiency cleared on 16 May 2014. Vessel provided documentation from class society (NKK) showing that the emergency fuel tank remote control shut off valve is now fully functional. Documentation was provided.
Ownership record
The Coast Guard's documentation record for this hull -- the Abstract of Title,
with its owners and liens as filed -- is not in PSIX. Ask, and Maury buys it from the National
Vessel Documentation Center, files it here with its date, and every reader of this page gets it.
