The liferaft launching instructions posted do not accurately depict the launching procedures to be followed in an emergency. If followed, the painter would not be secured, allowing the liferaft to be deployed without inflating the rafts.

The vessel has a portable accommodations module (PAM) installed on the back deck of the vessel as defined in CG-ENG Policy Letter No. 01-16 paragraph 5.a.i. The PAM on board has not been certified in accordance with this policy. Correct deficiency prior to use of this portable accommodation.
