Doors fitted in boundary bulkheads of machinery spaces of catergory A shall be reasonably gas tight and self closing. 03 self closing doors in engineering spaces were not self closing properly as per the fire control plan. Two were found in the Steering Gear room and one was found in the Engine Control Room. SOLAS (14) Reg. 9.4.2.1, 17(c).
