Scantlings, material, and workmanship, subdivision of cargo spaces, fitting of cofferdams, and testing of tanks shall be at least equivalent to the requirements of the American Bureau of Shipping or other recognized classification society. 46CFR32.60-1(a) Received report of barge DBL 101 alliding with the barge AL2300's bow rake. The DBL 101 sustained damage to port side #2 cargo tank external frame and steam pipe header. Vessel is authorized a one time transit and discharge from Stolthaven to Covestro to offload current cargo (phenol). Then, proceed to nearest shipyard within Sector Houston OCMI zone to enact permanent repairs prior to cargo operations. Repairs shall be to the satisfaction of a CG Marine Inspector.

There is a 5-6 inch deep inset by approximately 2 feet long located on the port side gunwale about 40 feet back from the bow that needs to be cropped & renewed. Additionally, there is an approximate 40 foot section of plating & rub bar with scrapings & varied insets on port side approximately 2 feet above & below the rub bar. A CG-835 was issued requiring an internal structural exam of all voids
