Scantlings, material, and workmanship shall be at least equivalent to the requirements of ABS or other recognized class society. Vessel experienced the following damage stemming from a marine casualty collision: 1. In way of the port No. 3 cargo expansion trunk, the trunk was set in 0-3" and fractured in way over an area of 3'6"x2'0"x1/2". 2. In way of the port No. 6 wingtank, at the aft bulkhead and extending fwd 6'0", the formed deck and gunwale was set in from 0-4" over an area of 6'0"x2'3"x1/2". Vessel is authorized to transit as per transit plan from Valero Meraux, LA to FMT Shipyard, [name withheld], LA, for permanent repairs. Tank barge SMS 30021 port side cargo manifold piping and its respective gate valve were damage during an allision. The cargo piping was warped towards the stern of the barge while the valve handle was crushed completely. Vessel may discharge current cargo from starboard manifold, however, the vessel may not load cargo until this CG-835 is cleared.
